The local police investigation has hit a wall. Public concern and outrage mount. The same thing is happening in other small towns surrounding the metro area with police investigations reaching the same unsatisfactory result. Al agrees to ask Norm, his ex-cop friend from L.A. to work with him in an effort to shut down these vicious crimes. Assistance comes from a strange quarter. Jimmy Fair is a dying biker who - when he isn't in jail - occasionally works for Al. He offers to help. He can go where the deepest undercover cop can't. He does and the result...

Ok r I liked reading it but......

I liked reading it. He writes a good book. It's very entertaining. But I know why this series sat. Needs editing. Annoying that the helper is sometimes ted and sometimes sean. That becomes even more apparent in the fourth book. The two daughters are Sarah, Jane, and Heather. Their jobs also blend. And then the main character is righteous but ready to set up killing someone. That doesn't fit.
The Clearwater books are so much better. But these are still a pretty good read.
