Love or Life. What do you value more?

Blurry visioned Mona decides theres no point going to college after graduatiing at the top of her class. She realizes money rules everything in life. While she is trying to find love with the power of money, she gets to addicted to the hustle of the drug Game. Fast money right? Mona finds Cam, a drug lord and falls in love with him. So what does Mona do when the love of her life finds out shes been disloyal to him. Does she choose her life or the love for money? Reading this book has kept me on the edge of wanting to know what is going to happen next. Couldn't wait to read the sequel to it, i must say both novels was a page turner.

    What a great read.

Mona Foster and her brother Yatta were raised by their drug addicted mother. Never really have much of anything and watching her mom pimp guys to feed her addiction, Mona learned how to manipulate men using her beauty and body. Tired of being without she set her sites on ballers and heavy hitters in the game. At a concert she sets her sites on a rapper name Controversy but a guy named Cameron aka Cam quickly convinced her he was the man. With all his money and bling she saw stars and jump head in. Blinded by the money, shopping, and diamonds she ends up living with him with out knowing him fully. Once in there she finds out there are two sides of Cam and that side is an abusive side. What can she do she is trapped, can she make it out without becoming another statistic? I applaud Kashamba this was a very good read. The characters were developed, and the storyline did lose its edge. I was captivated from beginning to end. I recommend this read!

    I LIKED IT

Well, this book is really sad though because it seems like most of the black young beautiful ladies suffer from being taught not to do this and not to do that. She was so caught up in the Glamorous Life, She always said im never going to be like my mom, and she turned out just like her but her mom turned her life around, and got God in her life, but said to say that didnt happen for Mona!!!! I think this is a book everybody daughter should read because im only 15 and you know we are out there at a young age when the dudes are really coming, hormones jumping and you really cant control yourself, so ill just rather read about the stuff that go on then do it.

    Powerful Message

One of the best I have read. It delivers a strong message for the young women making their way in this world, while living in urban hoods.

    What's the next hustle?

Mona Foster is driven and determined to get what she wants, when she wants, by any means necessary. For now, she¿s set on getting close to the rap star named Controversy. While attending one of his concerts, someone else catches her eyes instead. His name is Camron, Cam for short. He tells Mona that he¿s the man for her, not Controversy. Blinded by his bling-bling and how he portrays himself to be, she gives him a chance just to see what he has to offer. ¿Money talks and bulls*** walks¿ in Mona¿s book; it¿s all about the benjamins and how much of it she can get.    Cam spoils Mona to no end and promises her a life of grandeur. She is sucked into the lifestyle of fancy cars, endless shopping sprees and an abundant cash flow. She even moves in with him without knowing much about him, other than the fact that he has money¿and lots of it.  Shortly after living with him, his true colors begin to shine like the bling-bling he wears and slowly but surely she begins to find out more and more about her man. One day she discovers a little too much information and desperately seeks an out. Will she be able to escape?    Reading this novel brought to mind a few money related clichés: ¿The love of money is the root of all evil¿; ¿more money more problems¿; and ¿all that glitters is not gold.¿ Williams gives you a birds-eye view of what the love of money can do to a person. Blinded is an appropriate title. The novel is short, a quick read and is on point. I especially loved the epilogue. For those who are gold-diggers, groupies, money hungry, or whatever the choice word is these days, I highly recommend this for you¿or to a friend who fits the description. Filled w/Drama

It started off kind of rocky and then drama just appeared w/the character of Cam.. He was a hot mess and Mona was just desperate for $$.. I was surprised that as sneaky as she was I am surprised that she lasted as long as she did. I didnt like the way the story ended because it left you hanging. But overall, the book was interesting enough to pass along to my friends..

    Excellent read

I would be lying if I said this book was'nt a good read. Even though I do not anticipate on living the life Mona was, it still opened my eyes to the way many young girls struggle to survive. She grappled with so many suppressed issues that she kept bottled within her for so long. This book was amazing because it demonstrated that street life may appear glamourous, but there are prices to pay for such a glamourous lifestyle. I was very surprised by the way the story ended but it was still a very informative and interesting book. This book can act as a lesson for those who are living this lifestyle or who are tempted to do so. Ms. Kashamba Williams is a dignified and prolific authoress who has outdone herself. Thank you Ms. Williams.
