Editorial Reviews

Kathleen Seidel
"I don't like vampire books. I don't like short stories, but I loved loved loved the vampire short story written by Evie Owens. Short stories usually leave me clamoring for more detail and back stories; vampire books leave me shrieking "Why?" But it was easy to accept the premise here . . . and the writing was gorgeous."

Meet the Author

Evie Owens was born in Japan (she's half Japanese), but grew up on a dairy farm in Upper Michigan. She's waited tables and tended bar, which makes her a very good tipper, but writing is her passion. She's written historical romance, contemporary romance, contemporary paranormal romance, young adult paranormal romance, and numerous short stories--some of them, also, paranormal (in case you're looking for a theme)--but she always always writes the stories she would want to read.

    Beautiful writing

This is not your typical vampire story. The writing is beautiful and the matter-of-fact-ness of the main character's approach brings you into the story in a marvelous and refreshing way.
