Overview

Aaron MacManus, the new master vampire of the realm just wanted to go out and meet some of his subjects and to figure out what needed to be done to set things right.

April and Demetrius Carlovetti own an air service and are the most trusted and well liked vampires in Aaron’s realm. What he didn’t expect when he visited them was betrayal. His own bodyguards try to murder him and blame it on the Carlovetti’s.

Sara Temple was not a vampire. She pilots planes for the Carlovetti Airways. She had secretes of her own and working for this small air service is keeping her out of sight. The last thing she wanted to do was save a vampire, even an extremely good looking one.

Sara was only trying to survive but with Aaron she becomes embroiled in politics, the magic of several realms involving a queen in peril, magical beings, passion and love.

Blood, Body and Mind, the first book in the Aaron’s Kiss series.

Meet the Author

I woke up one morning and decided to give play time to the people in my head who were keeping me awake. Little did I know that they would be so relentless and want their time right now! I wrote for the pure joy of it and to entertain my family and friends. But mostly it was to get more than an hour of sleep without a story playing out. Of course, the more I write, the more they want. So…well, as a result of sleepless days (I work through the night as a gun toting grandma – nope not a vigilantly but an armed security guard) I have lots of stories written.

Hello! My name is Kathi Barton and I’m an author. I have been married to my very best friend Sonny for at times seems several lifetimes – in a good way, honey. And together we have three wonderful children and then the ones we brought into the world - Paul and Dale Barton, Jason and Wendy Barton and Danielle and Ben Conklin. They have given us seven of the greatest treasures on Earth. They don’t live at home seven days a week! No, seriously, seven grandchildren – Gavin, Spring, Ben, Trinity, Sarah, Kelly and Kian.

Kathi S Barton is a prolific and very talented writer of both contemporary and sci-fi/fantasy erotic romances. "Blood, Body and Mind", the first of the "Aaron's Kiss" series, features a world where magical beings live among humans who are unaware of the creatures' existence.

Queen Melody (Keeper of Magick) leads the beings and protects the world from the followers of dark magic who would destroy it all. Sara Temple was part of the elite warriors who guard Melody. When the queen was betrayed and badly injured by her own mate, Sara slips her away to the mortal realm. Melody's recovery is agonizingly slow, and enemy forces are hunting Sara so she distances herself from the queen to protect her hidden location.

While working as a pilot, Sara foils the plot of rogue vampires intent on killing Aaron McManus, the newest vampire Master of the Realm. Sara is gravely injured in the attempt, and Aaron converts her without realizing how magical she is or how changed she will make him in return sharing blood, body and mind. The soon-to-be mates join forces in fighting their enemies.

Kathi skillfully builds this world while writing this first of many thrilling, action-packed erotic romances.

Aaron the dreamy vampire has finally met his match when he meets

Aaron the dreamy vampire has finally met his match when he meets Sara. Sara can literally bring anyone to their knees and beg for mercy in many ways. Sara has had a very rough life and trusts no one except for Mel, the Queen that she has protected for years and now is protecting Mel from the evil Sherman. Sherman was Mel’s husband and an evil one at that. The connection between Aaron & Sara is just amazing and watching as the characters grow into something more than would ever imagine is intense. Kathi has shown us that we want more about all of the characters in her book. I found myself not putting it down because the magic between Aaron and Sara is meant to be in all ways. I smiled and laughed at so many scenes it was like watching a movie play out. Kathi left us with wanting more and more.
