Hybrids.

If I had to choose one word to sum up all of my problems, this would be it.

Without hybrids, I wouldn't have to watch my best friend slowly becoming a monster. Without hybrids, I could let go of the mentality "hunt or be hunted." CHAS wouldn't be scouring the Earth, intent on slaughtering and using Alex to do it. Without hybrids, I wouldn't have to be on guard that losing my temper meant losing my shape. There would be no monster inside me, struggling to get out.

Then again, without hybrids, I wouldn't have Wesley St. John.

OMG OMG OMG *takes a deep breath* so the ending to Cold Blood was pretty intense but has absolutely nothing on Blood Bond! Yes its taken me forever to finally start and finish it but let me tell you once you hit about 50% you can't put the book down, well at least I couldn't! So Blood Bond started with "graduation" from Wood Point and Tara having a roomie for the summer, Cambria!! Fun times right and then getting to see Wes!!!! How awesome and exciting right?! Wrong... Well let's just say Tara and Wes can't catch a break... George is changing, the hybrids are still gunning for Tara with a new person in control, and some things are going down with CHAS that's not quite right... Tara has some decisions she has to make on top of facing the wolf that's clawing to get out... Faced with more questions than answers, Tara sets out to find Astor DeLuca... Is he crazy, sane, or does he just know how to play the part? Will Tara be able to save George and at what cost? Then there is Alex. Wanting to protect Tara but does he go to far? Is he really ready to face the consequences? Does he betray the one person he wanted to protect? Heather had me all over this book and the ending OMG can't book 4 be out already because I don't know if I can take the suspense!!! I just want Wes to catch a break, it's been none stop obstacles in his way Tara.... She makes her mind up at the end... Wes or Alex? Cause or CHAS? Well your going to have to read to find out!

I was given a complimentary copy by author Heather Hildenbrand for an honest review. This is book 3 of The Dirty Blood series by the author. Tara has to find out how to help the hybrids and to keep them out of the clutches of CHAS but it is not as easy as it seems. Someone can't be trusted and it just might bring things down. This book has more excitement and action then books 1&2 but it still has the same interesting characters. The flow is stronger and faster also. This is for any paranormal romance book reader.

Can't change font size & it is very small making it difficult to read so I really haven't even begun to read this book. I already bought the last book & it is the same way except it also has a border that you cant get rid of which is just as irritating. Does anyone else know how to correct this? If its the publishers doing I'm hoping they will correct it & the correction will work on these 2 books that I already bought! I want to read these books, but I don't want to have to strain my eyes like this & end up with a migraine from it! I liked the 1st 2 books & really want to find out what happens.

This series keeps getting better and better! Heather is an awesome writer. She has this way of drawing you in and not letting you go until you're done. The Dirty Blood series is quickly becoming one of my favorite book series'. In Blood Bond we learn that it's finally summer. Tara is now able to go back home for a few months to see her family, friends & Wes. (Oh, Wes. I can never grow tired of reading about him...) Of course it doesn't take long before it all hits the fan. Can I just say that I absolutely love Tara? This chick has been through some crap and just keeps right on ticking! I don't want to give to much away but I will say that we suffer a loss in Blood Bond. Not a major character but one that will be missed none the less. Amidst all the action & plotting, we also learn that Tara's blood is the key to saving all the hybrids. But there is a major consequence if she chooses to take that path. We also get to see more of Alex in this one. I really love Tara & Alex's relationship. They are very sarcastic with each other. Of course I will only really ever want her to be with Wes but I can't help loving me some Alex. Her friendship with George takes a huge twist since what happened in Cold Blood. They become alot closer (mainly because of a certain reason I don't want to give away!) with each other, to the point that it becomes a burden. Blood Bond is almost non stop action. I guarantee you will enjoy this series! To find out what choice Tara makes, you are going to have to read this one for yourself. I ain't giving nothing away!

The long awaited book #3 of Heather Hildenbrand's Dirty Blood series couldn't get here soon enough. After having left us hanging at the end of book #2 "Cold Blood", "Blood Bond" picks up right where we left off. Heather has done some unique and fascinating writing with this book. She has completely changed her writing style from the first two books adding much more drama, action and intensity to her story. Just when you think you see the light at the end of the tunnel and hope arising, Heather drops a bomb and it becomes a brand new game. I truly thought in the beginning that I had it all figured out with this series, where the characters would go, how the story would end...but boy was I wrong. Since Heather branched off from the Dirty Blood series earlier in the year and wrote the passionate story of Whisper, I have seen her writing change. She has added such passion, creativity, and a uniqueness to her story that none other has. You can tell with her writing that Heather truly enjoys what she does, and gives the reader what they want...A fantastic story. You walk away from it feeling like you have gained friends for life from her stories. There are good reads and then there are great reads that leave you holding your breath at the end, that is what Heather writes, the great ones. I am so happy Heather has given me the opportunity to read her writings, she is one of the great ones to follow. Enjoy!

Blood Bond took the cake! Heather Hildenbrand outdid herself. Each book in the Dirty Blood series is better than the one prior. Absolutely stunning! Tara's Junior year at Wood Point is coming to a close and she is saying her goodbyes. This may be the last time she ever sees Alex again. Little does she know that this summer she will find herself, fight for what she believes in, and find out who she can trust. Wow. That is the best word I can use to describe this installment to the Dirty Blood series. Others include amazing, phenomenal and breathtaking. The sole focus of Blood Bond was the issue of the hybrids. We get to see a lot more of George (yay!) and a great deal of Wes. I love that Tara is her same old self. She still fights for what she wants and does whatever she has to do to get it. Wes is becoming more supportive and he's come to realize she can take care of herself, which was a huge no go for him in Cold Blood. I also loved that Cambria played a much bigger part. It was nice to see Tara at home but still connected to school in some way. Overall, Blood Bond left me breathless and on the edge of my seat. In the end, I didn't expect or even see the big twist coming. If you want action and adventure, the Dirty Blood series is a great pick. Highly recommend!

What a great book to this series! I really enjoyed Blood Bond with all its action and twists. And it does have a cliffhanger ending, but not one that has me screaming to know what the heck happens. It was one I could live with for now. This book continues with Tara as she Continues to save her friends and find peace for wolves and hunters. And Of course there is the evil villians of craziness that she must figure out who is and how to defeat. There are a few great new characters introduced to help her, and of course, there is the hotty Wes and a little bit of Alex, too. Love this series and cannot wait for book 4! I recommend these werewolf books to everybody!
