OMG OMG OMG *takes a deep breath* so the ending to Cold Blood was pretty intense but has absolutely nothing on Blood Bond! Yes its taken me forever to finally start and finish it but let me tell you once you hit about 50% you can't put the book down, well at least I couldn't!
So Blood Bond started with "graduation" from Wood Point and Tara having a roomie for the summer, Cambria!! Fun times right and then getting to see Wes!!!! How awesome and exciting right?! Wrong... Well let's just say Tara and Wes can't catch a break...
George is changing, the hybrids are still gunning for Tara with a new person in control, and some things are going down with CHAS that's not quite right... Tara has some decisions she has to make on top of facing the wolf that's clawing to get out... Faced with more questions than answers, Tara sets out to find Astor DeLuca... Is he crazy, sane, or does he just know how to play the part? Will Tara be able to save George and at what cost?
Then there is Alex. Wanting to protect Tara but does he go to far? Is he really ready to face the consequences? Does he betray the one person he wanted to protect?
Heather had me all over this book and the ending OMG can't book 4 be out already because I don't know if I can take the suspense!!! I just want Wes to catch a break, it's been none stop obstacles in his way Tara.... She makes her mind up at the end... Wes or Alex? Cause or CHAS? Well your going to have to read to find out!

After having left us hanging at the end of book #2 "Cold Blood", "Blood Bond" picks up right where we left off. Heather has done some unique and fascinating writing with this book. She has completely changed her writing style from the first two books adding much more drama, action and intensity to her story. Just when you think you see the light at the end of the tunnel and hope arising, Heather drops a bomb and it becomes a brand new game. I truly thought in the beginning that I had it all figured out with this series, where the characters would go, how the story would end...but boy was I wrong. Since Heather branched off from the Dirty Blood series earlier in the year and wrote the passionate story of Whisper, I have seen her writing change. She has added such passion, creativity, and a uniqueness to her story that none other has. You can tell with her writing that Heather truly enjoys what she does, and gives the reader what they want...A fantastic story. You walk away from it feeling like you have gained friends for life from her stories. There are good reads and then there are great reads that leave you holding your breath at the end, that is what Heather writes, the great ones. I am so happy Heather has given me the opportunity to read her writings, she is one of the great ones to follow. Enjoy!

Tara's Junior year at Wood Point is coming to a close and she is saying her goodbyes. This may be the last time she ever sees Alex again. Little does she know that this summer she will find herself, fight for what she believes in, and find out who she can trust.
Wow. That is the best word I can use to describe this installment to the Dirty Blood series. Others include amazing, phenomenal and breathtaking. The sole focus of Blood Bond was the issue of the hybrids. We get to see a lot more of George (yay!) and a great deal of Wes.
I love that Tara is her same old self. She still fights for what she wants and does whatever she has to do to get it. Wes is becoming more supportive and he's come to realize she can take care of herself, which was a huge no go for him in Cold Blood. I also loved that Cambria played a much bigger part. It was nice to see Tara at home but still connected to school in some way.
Overall, Blood Bond left me breathless and on the edge of my seat. In the end, I didn't expect or even see the big twist coming. If you want action and adventure, the Dirty Blood series is a great pick. Highly recommend!

What a great book to this series! I really enjoyed Blood Bond with all its action and twists. And it does have a cliffhanger ending, but not one that has me screaming to know what the heck happens. It was one I could live with for now.
This book continues with Tara as she Continues to save her friends and find peace for wolves and hunters. And Of course there is the evil villians of craziness that she must figure out who is and how to defeat. There are a few great new characters introduced to help her, and of course, there is the hotty Wes and a little bit of Alex, too.
Love this series and cannot wait for book 4! I recommend these werewolf books to everybody!

Overview
If I had to choose one word to sum up all of my problems, this would be it.
Without hybrids, I wouldn’t have to watch my best friend slowly becoming a monster. Without hybrids, I could let go of the mentality “hunt or be hunted.” CHAS wouldn’t be scouring the ...
