Meet the Author

India knew from age nine that writing would be her passion. Since then she's discovered many more, but none quite so fulfilling as creating a world, a character, or a moment and watching them evolve into something complex and compelling. She has lived in three countries and four American states, is a dual British and American citizen, and currently lives at the base of the Scottish Highlands in a village so small its main attraction is a red phone box. In other words: paradise.

    Good!

The stats: 180 nook pages. Urban fantasy romance. Well edited and proofread. Rated PG13 for violence and scariness and brief nudity. No sex. The plot: an exiled fairy comes to find her own power through an unexpected relationship with a druid. I liked this book. It was free, but I'm willing to pay for the next books in the series. Recommend you give it a try.

This was a really good read. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in fantasy. I'm looking forward to reading more of the series. While it doesn't leave you hanging and wishing you didn't 'have' to buy the next book, it certainly makes you want it. Well written, it keeps your attention throughout.

    Enjoyed

I will want to read the series. The book is self contained but left plenty of room for followup books. The characters were personable and the storyline was interesting.

    A very good read

The character development was excellent, and the storyline was a wonderful combination of real modern life and the original fae mythology in the place where the stories originated! Very exciting, so realistic I believe it might be true. ALSO - I really appreciate the the book stands alone and doesn't have any cliffhangers. I definitely will read the other books.

    Fae

Lovely book. I got totally immersed the second I started reading. This is a completely different story line from what I've come to expect from a Fae story. Bonding with human druids was never considered before. Keep up the good work!

A good read. My first time reading a fae-meet-modern-world story

A good read. My first time reading a fae-meet-modern-world story. Not my prefered genre, but it was an enjoyable story. Some excellent details to the magical elements --the ebb and flow of the Realm's borders was especially nice-- and good consistancy, though I would have preferred a little more foreshadowing throughout. Her attention to Munro's professional conflicts was an excellent detail. In my opinion it could have used another 20% in length, to flesh out the characters and make their interactions a little deeper --the romance thread feels rushed, and the villain could use a little more depth-- but these may be due to genre standards I'm unfamiliar with. All criticism aside, I've already recommended it to a couple friends, and as I said, a good read.

    Scotland and Faeries, good fantasy

Great for the 15-20 set and all older fantasy lovers. Easy reading with plenty of insight into the faerie world. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

This book had all the things I like in a story-good plot lines, character development, and most of all it was complete unto itself even as part of a series.

    Fantastic fantasy

I read this book in two day. It grips you from the start, though some of the plot it choppy, this story is great. Definitely worth the read, is you like modern day faerie fantasy. I'm looking forward to the next book!

    Really Good

I loved this book and have added to my library. I don't believe in telling the story. I look in the reviews to see what other people think. I gave this 5 stars, because I liked this. I hope this helps any one who reads this review.

    Great read

I wrote the author to tell her what a fine job she did with this book. She made it enjoyable and hooked a new fan. Nit too shabby Id say.

    Faeries and Druids

A good read if you enjoy fantasy, stories about faeries, are in between books, or looking for something different. This story grabs you from the start with a death that is different than what you'd expect us to encounter here. Yet it is precisely this that makes you wonder what would our current police force do if an unnatural murder took place?
The two main characters have a strong connection that goes beyond romantic interest. There are also more than enough substories to make sequals and/ or series a sure thing.

I would give it 4.5 stars since it has all the makings for a great story-intrigue, mystery, action, romance, suspense, and magic!

    Good Stuff.

Different but good. Interesting plot and fun characters. The story was a unusual blend but was a very good read all the same. I will be adding the others of this series to my collection.
