What price will we pay for true salvation?

As an escalating scourge of grisly murders sweeps the globe, archaeologist Erin Granger must decipher the truth behind an immortal prophecy, one found in the Blood Gospel, a tome written by Christ and lost for centuries. With the Apocalypse looming and the very foundations of our world crumbling, Erin must again join forces with Army sergeant Jordan Stone and Father Rhun Korza to search for a treasure lost for millennia, a prize that has already fallen into the hands of their enemy.

The forces of darkness have crowned a new king, a demon named Legion, who walks this Earth wearing many faces. His reach is beyond measure—even the walls of the Vatican fall before him. To have any hope of saving the world, Erin must uncover the truth behind man's first steps out of the Garden of Eden, an event wrapped in sin and destruction, an act that damned humankind for eternity.

Editorial Reviews

Providence Journal on BLOOD INFERNAL
“Blood Infernal is equal parts horror and action with a heavy dose of superstition and science thrown in for good measure, all adding up to a breathless and bracing book, as scary as it is scintillating.”
Fresh Fiction on BLOOD INFERNAL
“James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell have created a series that brings in religious history and fantasy to a new level with the Order of the Sanguines.”

Fast paced. Hard to put down.

This is the best of the 3 books. It's a fun read and the characters have enough depth to be interesting. It isn't as clever, interesting nor informative as DaVinci code, but does have some of the flavor. Clever use of switching perspectives and action, along with bits of intertwined church history will keep your attention, but it doesn't attempt to challenge you with puzzles- those are handled quickly by the characters, which was a bit of a disappointment. So while this series probably won't make your top five list, if you're like me you will thoroughly enjoy them. Cheers.

This was a great book with a very satisfying ending. I am however, very unhappy that this is the last of a series which has the potential for more adventures of all the key characters. I highly recommend all three books.

This has been the most perfect conclusion to a really fantastic story! I thoroughly enjoyed all the great twists to the ending. Those who want a fresh storyline should definately start with the first book and work through them all. You will love it. It is so easy to connect with these characters. I hate to see the story end but I wouldn't have missed this one. Rollins and Cantrell absolutely rocked it. Stephanie Clanahan

I have read the first two and completely kept me entertained

Other than a hundred or so to many pages of excessive violence and blood lust, this was a decent conclusion to the trilogy. Definitly not the best one of the three. Take away away the eccess blood, I would have rated it a four star.

Great read - really had a hard time putting it down...too many times I felt an upcoming lull in the actions only to be proven wrong time and time again.

Rollins as usual does not dissapoint. As sad as it is to see this series end..it certainly was a satisfying finale. Loved every charachter. Great job! Highly recommed the entire series. Worth every penny.

Action, adventure, humor, suspence, and enough twists to keep you guessing what the path to the ending will be. I read for all of the pervious reasons, to escape the stress of life, and not to pick apart plots, subplots, or character building. This series gave me that relif, plus the understanding that there are still people in this world, who despite all that is going on in the world, want the best for all of us, and that shines through these stories. Happy reading to those that folow.

Rebecca and James have outdone themselves in the wrapping-up of this series...  It is a sad day, since I've finished the book-let's hope the world is at peril once again so the trio in this trio can come back.  Not that I'm wishing for natural disaster or anything here, but.....  (My faith is in the trio) Not only does this book perfectly fall inline with the other two in the series, it falls inline with something worldly (at the time of its publishing.)  Only the  VERY most clever will figure it out.  I, did not.  I'm leaving it at that because I never divulge spoilers.  I want you to enjoy that 'AH-HA' moment as I have.  But I will tell you it is so cleverly plotted that I am green with envy at its brilliance.  Can you tell I'm having a hard time not spilling it???  A guaranteed thrill ride...

EXCELLENT!!!! The only bad thing is that it is the end. But there is room for Rhun and Elizabeth adventures. Hint hint hint.

the last book in the series...great co writer Rebecca Cantrell. I enjoyed this series as much as his first group of books, story is totally believable intertwining religion and facts with fiction. I hope they write more together.
