Okay so me and my friend in science both love manga. She usually brings in different books and i read them. For instance, vampire knight. But she brought in this book and i totally loved it. Amazing!

I loved this series' dark art style and humor. It creates a good blend of funny and serious moments, and keeps you interested throughout the story. I remember saying to myself when I bought it, "I haven't been this excited for a new series since Soul Eater." I highly recomend it to any who enjoyed Soul Eater.

I loved Staz and all of Blood Lad's characters. Few shows focus on their character's background like the show "Darker than Black". This is great, it allows us to stand in a character's shoes. I became a fan of Braz because of this.

As well as a fellow reader of this series, I found out about Blood Lad in a (OKAMIUSA) magazine. It was just a preview of the first chapter. When I was finished with the sixteen page preview, I was all like: I gotta read more!! I searched for the rest of the chapter but to no avail. I remembered that Christmas was near so, I put it on my list and waited. I then realized three weeks before Christmas that I could get it on my nook color and believe me, I don't regret reading it. I love Blood Lad almost as much as Inuyasha(my favorite anime). When I get hooked on something, I feel like a fish with a super-glued hook in my mouth. It is just... fanomanal! If you haven't read Blood Lad, you should! Unless you are some brat that thinks that reading is for nerds, f--- you. Anybody can read; it's just if you decide to.

This series is fantastic! Even for someone like me, who is a total sucker for the cutesy teen romance series (at 22 years old, no less). The humor is refreshing, and the art style is highly appealing. I bought the first two volumes in-store, and am now ordering the third as well as some others. These aren't listed as omnibus editions, but in the first volume, on the copyright info page, it references volumes 1 and 2, and in the second volume, 3 and 4. However, the third volume on this site starts up where volume two leaves off, so I'm assuming that was just generic information. And I'm assuming that the fact that these volumes are twice the size of usual manga tankobon is just a choice made by the mangaka/their publisher.
