Overview

First Book of the Preternaturals series.

It's all about the blood...

Comprised of three novellas, Blood Lust gives readers a snapshot look at the world of the Preternaturals Series.

KEPT:

As a cat therian (shifter), Greta's blood is already sought after to enhance spells and potions, but due to a quirk of her birth, her blood is potent enough to kill for. When her tribe plans to sacrifice her, Greta must ally herself with Dayne, the dangerous local sorcerer, and the only person strong enough to protect her.

CLAIMED:

For a vampire, Anthony isn't a picky eater, but he's drawn to Charlee's blood more than any other. Like a fine wine saved for a special occasion, he's denied himself this pleasure. But one night, high from the potent magical blood of another, he claims his prize and loses control. Ashamed of almost killing the one woman who means anything to him, he wipes her memory of the event. When Charlee awakens with complete amnesia, Anthony is the only one who can clean up the mess he's made.

MATED:

Because of the vampiric blood that has run through her veins since birth, Jane has been a target for vampires who resent a human being "kindred." She's forced to disguise herself as a vampire groupie to appease them and safeguard her life. When she's abruptly given to Cole, the leader of the werewolf pack, to satisfy a gambling debt, she discovers the blood running through her veins has a far greater impact on her destiny than she ever imagined.

    I Love These Three Novellas

Each one of these novellas are great separately, but when you put the three together in one book, you have a real hit! The reader is introduced to Zoe Winters' mystical world in Kept, and then with Claimed and Mated, it just keeps getting better and better. This is a delightful read and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good paranormal romance.

    All in one

Loved the book. But i also purchased the novellas individually AND this book. When i went to read this book i realized what happened. They shouldn't say Kept is the first book in the series and also list this book as the first book without any mention of it being the three novellas combined. Felt like I was tricked!

    Silly

I can't say that this book was boring, but the characters were silly. A female who turns into a cat who goes into heat. Seriously??? I couldn't stop laughing when she was clawing up the sheets begging for sex. Although the author captures the nature of a cat fairly well, I found it hard to relate to the human side of the character.

Very good paranormal book - check this out!

Blood Lust is a book that includes three novellas of Zoe Winters'. She is one of the best paranormal writers I have seen. She ranks right up there with J. R. Ward and Patricia Briggs. The emotion of each story sucks you in immediately and the characters are very well written. I hope she writes many more of these preternatural stories!

Loved this book.  I was not expecting to get into it as much as I did but the story has a way of pulling you in.  I am not surprised as Zoe Winters has a way of doing thst with her writing.  From the stress of every day life sometimes you just need a book that will take you aeay from reality for a while.  I was enthralled and read this book in just a day.  I can not wait to read the rest of the series.  If your into werewolves and vampires this book is for you.
