Haern's back, along with all the old characters from Shadow Dance. But new people have showed up as in the mysterious Grayson (guild leader of a powerful thief guild in Mordeina) and Victor, who has the insane idea of ridding Veldaren of the thieves. Dalglish has given us a new story to fall in love with that in my mind will be his best story yet, i cant wait for the next two. If you have any interest at all in fantasy you'll love this book.
Dalglish serves us a vicious course of violence and intrigue in the first installment of this series. From the moment I started reading and didn't want to stop it's clear I was not disappointed. I can't wait to read the second!
is this the fourth book???!
