I give this book 5 starts becuase I own a copy and have read it 3 to 4 times it is so good. He goes from Airborne to guns on the water to Rangers. he tells his story so well its like you are actually there. I highly recommend this book if you like books from the Vietnam War Era.

I found this book helpful. It showed me what types of jobs there are in the military and some vary from others. It also shows you what life is like as a soldier in a combat zone. It puts you in the soldiers shoes like you were there with them. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the military or history.
