Meet the Author

I am a 31 year old wife, mother, nurse and writer. Not always in that order. I am currently working on the second book in the series The Grey Wolves Series, and I have just started working on getting my RN. God has been good to me and my family and I am thankful to be blessed with a vivid imagination and the ability to talk like a teenage girl, much to my husbands chagrin.

Even after a second reading of this book I am still in love. Quinn Loftis has outdone herself with this book. The romance, tragedy, and chase provided in this book would make just about anyone swoon.

Jacque and Fane have overcome the challenge and are getting ready for the blood rites the next evening until tragedy strikes and they are torn apart. Jen is falling hard for Decebel knowing she could never have a happily ever after with him because she doesn't have wolf blood. And Sally is there to comfort Jen in her distress.

In this book we are introduced to a few new characters and really given insight on a one previously introduced in Prince of Wolves. Dillon Jacobs is Jacque's father and Alpha of the Denver Pack. He knew nothing of her existence until hearing of the challenge and now wants to meet her. Logan, Dillon's Beta, is asked to keep tabs on Jacque by his Alpha. Cynthia Steele, sister of Lucas Steele, is a woman seeking to avenge her brothers death. In Blood Rites we finally get to know Decebel, a possessive, bossy wolf who only confuses Jen with every move he makes.

Blood Rites is the same as Prince of Wolves in the sense that the perspective changes. However, instead of changing between chapters, it changes within the chapters. I really like the point of view change because it allows the reader to really understand how each of the characters feel in any given event or scene.

Overall, I feel this was a great book depicting yet another mountain for Jacque and Fane to conquer. I highly recommend this book as well as the others in The Grey Wolves series.

    Love this series!!

Wow!! I finished this book in one sitting because there was just never a point where I could stop reading. The intense action starts at the very beginning and never really lets up! Fane and Jacques are still just amazing together and will go to any length to prove their love. Every scene between them just fills my heart with warmth. And just when you think Jen and Sally can't possibly get any snarkier, they somehow manage it! I just love those two! I also loved getting to know some of the other grey wolves. They definitely add a little spice to the mix. So basically I'm saying, I LOVED IT! Now I gotta go get started on book #3. ;)

This has got to be my new favorite series. Love how the author tells the story through several different characters p.o.v. Jacque and Fane are super cute together and Jacque friends are a crack up. If you do not read these series your missing out on some real laughter. I was lmao several times during this book. Ok

This book was full of sarcasm among teens and witless dialog that irritated mr. It had a good plot but the story needed yo be developed more.

I am enjoying this YA series, even though I am an adult. Love the characters ( even though some of them act older than the 17 year ols I know!).
