Overview

Have we lived past lives? If so, can those lives reveal themselves in our dreams? Bloodlines of the Soul is a dazzling account of lifetimes recovered from the unconscious to instruct and inspire dreamers in search of self-knowledge.

In this groundbreaking work, Sabine Lucas discloses the process of discovering her own many past lives as women and men from several historical ages and backgrounds. In a brilliant synthesis, she connects the crucial soul lessons learned from those lifetimes with important turning points in her present lifetime.

The second half of the book is devoted to four remarkable case studies that range over many centuries and landscapes, including the life of a Native American in the Old West, a soldier in revolutionary Russia, a compassionate Nazi camp matron at Dachau, a hapless emperor of Mexico, a ruthless Viking, King Richard the Lion-Hearted, and dozens of other fascinating lives.

Through these many colorful life stories, Dr. Lucas weaves her fundamental thesis, that we not only live many times over, but we also carry karma earned or levied upon us from one lifetime to another. It is a message that carries tremendous responsibility-and opportunities for healing-for the individual.>/p>

Professional therapists will find here a wealth of information on the healing process through dream work. Lay readers will discover the thrill of uncovering the mysteries of the psyche. Both emotionally engaging and intellectually satisfying, this book is a major contribution to the literature of dreams and of inner exploration by a distinguished Jungian psychotherapist-and masterful storyteller.

'Bloodlines Of The Soul' by Sabine Lucas

In a highly readable style, 'Bloodlines Of The Soul' describes both the mechanics and the purpose of reincarnation, and how the best proof of its existence is found in our own dreams. Riveting examples are given of the author's and her clients' dream and real life reincarnational experiences. These examples give very persuasive evidence for the reality of reincarnation.

Anyone interested in Jung, Dream Work, Past Lives, Individuation -

I¿ve just read Bloodlines of the Soul and have to say that it presents both breakthrough research and genuine inspiration as Dr. Lucas reveals her own process of discovery and individuation. Exploring the possibility that certain dreams could be related to past lives and giving herself permission to follow the unfolding thread of these dreams she discovers uncharted analytical territory. The result is a real page turner. The first half of the book reads like a mystery novel and details her process of investigating these dreams and then researching the historical record for corroboration. This took several years and travel to different countries. Most importantly though is how through this work she was able to make real breakthroughs in her own psychological process all as a result of integrating the lessons she learned from each of these previous lives, and the unique wisdom they were often able to impart. In the second half she presents several case studies in which she was able to guide her clients through this same process. This allows the reader to see the unfolding process from the other point of view. These stories are both fascinating and surprising. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Jung, dream work, past lives and the process of individuation.
