    Great read!

    Loved this one as much as the first, Orgins! These have made the rest of the books make more sense, like why Damon has such a dislike for his brother stefan which isn't that way in the beginin of orgins. You learn so much abojt how the change affects not only Stefan but Damons anger at stefan for not letting him die after the realized what they were, a definate must read if you are a fan of the series and/or the tv show

    History of stefan damon and lexi

    If you like the tv series you will love stefans diaries. It explains the relationships between the characters in so much more detail. Loved it!

    Loooooooovvvvveeeee it!

    Super good! Not to be a spoiler or anything, but i love this book cus it definetly explains the history of why damon hates stefan, because it wasn't like that in the first book. And it explains why stefan would be mad at him for someome he kills... later.... as an old friend.... sorry, im trying not to spoil it! And it shows why he only drinks animal blood now instead of lots of human blood like he did in the first book. I must be spoiling. Sorry! Nine year olds can be like that.

    Highly Reccomend

    If you are a Vampire Diaries Fan then you must read the Stefan's Diaries series. It gives you the background for how things all got started and how Stefan and Damon evolved.
    I am now into the third in the series "The Ripper".

    Better than Origins

    I think that Bloodlust was better than Origins. It was more exciting and didn't have as many parts that have been on the show. I will definitely read the next book when it comes out!

    Would not recommend if you are a fan of the books

    I am a fan of the books and the TV series, but was really hoping this would be a history in keeping with the books. It was not. It follows the history as laid out with the characters in the TV series. Very disappointing. I'm really hoping the final book, "Midnight" is true to the characters from the books, not the characters as they are in the TV series.

    Not as good as "Origins", but still worth reading!

    While this book did not have as much romance as the first Stefan's Diaries story, it is really cool to see the new dynamic between Stefan and Damon. This book focuses on the details of the brother's changing views on their humanity. It is nice to see why and how Stefan and Damon's rolls switched. I loved the reasons why Stefan chooses to only drink animal blood, and it is very entertaining to see Damon be as evil as he possibly can be. Now that Stefan has sworn off humans in all aspects, I am excited to see where things will go in the next book!

    Excellent Read...

    This book draws you in and keeps you there. I love this "Origins" series. It does NOT match the original backstory that was presented in L.J. Smith's original series, HOWEVER, it is more in depth and better than what was originally presented in my opinion. You go through the high's and lows of Stephan and Dameon's struggle through the first month of their transformation. I couldn't put it down and was sad when it seemed to end so quickly. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in this series, it is absolutely addictive.

    good read, but disapointed!

    Did L.J.Smith actually write 'Stephan's Diaries'? This part of the series does not match details from the original series! I think L.J.Smith needs to read her own books, so she can tell the story the same as she did in her other books! The only thing right were the names!
