Housewife Blues and Chihauhau Stories Review

"There is one word to be used to accurately describe this romp, FUN. From the beginning of the story the reader is thrust into the deliciously zany mayhem which makes up Stacy's anything but ordinary life. Filled with bits and pieces of contemporary references the story takes readers on a roller coaster ride of emotions from sheer disbelief to total hysterical laughter and even a few tears at what is revealed. There is nothing quite like revi

    Wonderful Story!!!!!!!!!

After reading Opal Fire, the first in the Stacy Justice series, I couldn't wait for Bloodstone to come out. I was not disappointed. The story is full of humor, action, and a great mystery. The author kept me guessing until the very end. If I could have given more stars I would have. This story is well worth reading! Again, I can't wait for Stacy's next adventure!

    At last!

When I finished OPAL FIRE, Barbra Annino's first Stacy Justice mystery, I couldn't wait for the next book. And here it is! Stacy is feisty and funny, and the situations she gets herself into will make you wonder how she's going to get herself out of them. In BLOODSTONE, Stacy's life is complicated by the arrival of a long-lost sister, a missing mother, a lost ancient book, and murder. Her family is even crazier than ever -- and who's the dead guy in the kitchen? How will Stacy sort everything out? Read the book and find out! Barbra Annino is definitely an author to watch!

Wow wee! What a Great Book :)

Wow wee, this book was great. I read the first 300 pages in two days then had to wait to finish until the next weekend (boo hoo). Fabulous story that kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Cannot wait until Tiger's Eye comes out to find out more about Stacy and her magical family. :)

A fun read you won't be able to put down!

Bloodstone, the second book in the Stacy Justice series starts where Opal Fire left off. A mysterious teenager is on Stacy's doorstep claiming to be her sister. With dealing with her mother's disappearance and keeping a watchful eye on her "sister", Stacy never expected to find a corpse in the kitchen. A family ancestry book holds the key to help Stacy but there's only one problem : the book is missing! She must find that book before it gets in the wrong hands!

Bloodstone is a fun and bewitching adventure. Stacy's not all that happy with being a witch unlike Ivy, her supposedly sister. Stacy just wants a normal and quiet life but it seems she attracts danger wherever she goes. She has to keep Ivy a secret from her grandmother Birdie whom I absolutely love. Some of the funniest moments are with her and the Geraghty clan. Love those ladies!

Bloodstone is a roller coaster ride of adventure, mystery and secrets. Before you know it, you've read the whole book and you're eagerly anticipating the next one. Barbra Annino has proven again she's the queen of cliffhangers! I'm dying to read the next book in the series, Tiger's Eye which will be out in 2012.

    4.5 out of 5 stars!
