    BORED!!

there was not enough action... it was mostly just a bunch of talking about what they were going to do. The main character kept on asking the same questions over and over again. Not recommened

    Outstanding!

This book was very interesting and it had a lot to do with the war and the hard times. There were a lot of deaths and it showed what it was like during those times for the farmers. Some parts were very depressing and sad. I couldn't believe some of the stuff that went on back then...it was terrible! Living had to be very hard! I would recommend this book to people who are trying to learn more about the post-depression period and the hard times that people went through back then!
