Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Jeanna Sciarrotta
Schuyler Van Alen's vampyric adventures continue in the seventh book of this best selling "Blue Bloods" series. In three intricately woven stories, the sensual and deep rooted Blue Blood love and lust once again takes on the Upper East Side. Most predominately, the story of Oliver, who finds himself wandering and lost after the departure of Schuyler. Will a bartender-witch be able to cure him and make him feel whole again? Can Schuyler outwit the dark forces that are determined to keep her and Jack from completing their bonding? And what about Allegra? She must, at some point, come to terms with her destiny. Avid fans of both Melissa De La Cruz and the Blue Bloods series will delight in this newest installment. Newbies, however, should steer clear. This is not a book that can be picked up and enjoyed without the proper background information. Little or no introduction is given to the characters and the storyline will seem vague and noncommittal to those not familiar with the story already. Hopefully, however, these readers will find their interest peaked just enough to seek out the first book in the series and enjoy all of the Blue Bloods. Reviewer: Jeanna Sciarrotta
