Blue Collar Comedy Tour Live

Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble - Ayelet Prizant
Comedians Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Larry the Cable Guy collectively have sold nearly 20 million albums over the past decade, offering hilarious observations on "real people," work, wives, kids, food, drunkenness, rednecks, and more. Now they've come together in a joint effort, The Blue Collar Comedy Tour Live, which has left audiences across the country snickering. You'll know why when you hear rants such as Foxworthy's "Made a Friend in the Bathroom," which spotlights the very different public rest room experience of men and women, and "Shortage of Sophisticated People," which cracks on the differences between sophisticated folks and rednecks. He also contributes a few of his famously funny "You Might Be a Redneck If…" assessments. Engvall inspires chuckling with a tale of a not-so-private shower in "Lose Your Privacy When You Have Kids" and discusses how movie love scenes differ from real-life romance in "Thanks for the Wedgie, Romeo." Newcomer White explores the simple things in life in "Naked Eating Cheetos," while Larry the Cable Guy, another fresh face on the comedy circuit, bemoans the lengthy download time for Internet porn in "Stuff That Irritates Me." Individually, these are funny men, but together, they form a hysterical comic force.
All Music Guide - Steve Huey
Blue Collar Comedy Tour Live features excerpts from the package tour's stop in Houston. Each of the tour's four comedians -- Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Larry the Cable Guy -- gets his own showcase section on the album, which is followed by a group storytelling encore. Also included is a bonus collaboration on the studio-recorded song "Blue Collar Christmas" co-written by Engvall. Selecting the very best highlights from each comic's performance, Blue Collar Comedy Tour Live turns out to be a strong collection, with the lesser-known opening acts coming off just as well as the headlining stars. Fans of any of these artists will enjoy this a great deal.

    It's so funny it hurt.

I rented this tape on 9/26/03. When I took it home and played it, I thought I was going to lose a lung laughing so hard. I recommend you DO NOT drink anything when watching this program unless you have plastic on the floor. My favorite comedian was Ron White. His timing and facial movments made his act a 10 star act. Jeff Foxworthy was excellent. His sense of humor is so down to earth. He always knows how to please an audience.Too funny.

    The BEST Comedy Show

This was the funniest comedy show in years. You can't help but laugh. All four of the comedians: Ron White, Larry The Cable Guy; Bill Engvall; and Jeff Foxworthy were top notch. You've gotta hear/see it, you WON'T be disappointed.

    "Greatest Show On Earth"

By far the funniest material I have seen in my life! Four of the funniest guys I have ever seen together. Their contrasting personalities blended together to give a side-splitting performance second to none! When is the sequel? Git-er-done!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ya Gotta Listen To This!!!!

I have seen the Blue Collar Tour 6 times and after each time wished it would not end. This CD captures the talents of Larry the Cable Guy, Ron White, Bill Engvall and Jeff Foxworthy. Each have their own track but it's the encore that will literally leave you hurtin' from laughin'. This is a must if you're already a Foxworthy or Engvall fan. If not, you will be!!
