Chynna is like purple leather! BLUE MONDAY was always fairly interesting as shorts in ACTION GIRL but this new book is Love and Rockets/Archie good! Blue Monday is one of my new faves.

[Chynna Clugston-Major's] script bounces to the beat of Marc Bolan, Duran Duran, The Selecter, and Siouxsie and the Banshees And her art is lively and full of manga spizz energy If a comic could be described as ‘power pop,' this one would surely be it. —The Arizona Republic
Kit Fox and Rio Yanez
One of the most original and creative series out there Never has there been a character with such a humorously foul mouth like Clover, and never has a music scene been so perfectly captured in the pages of a comic book.

A great graphic novel for fans of non-contemporary comics, Chynna Clugston-Major does go a little over the top with this story seemingly about a teenage girl trying to survive school in modern suburbia. Perversity, hilarity, and pure madness seem to consume hero Blue's life, and it's up to Blue, her Irish psycho friend clover, and a giant otter to save the day! Highly recommended.
