Blue Moods: Music for You

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
The title says it all -- this compilation contains 12 selections from Davis' classic Columbia recordings, all with a hazy, laid-back feel, perfect mood music for when you're feeling a little blue. There are plenty of classic performances here, from both of his classics quintets, plus his lovely interpretation of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time." Nothing rare here, nothing for collectors, but great mood music all the same.

    Definitely Cool and Sexy

This is a wonderful CD, and if you're new to jazz/blues it's very accessable too. Miles' playing sucks you in and is a wonderful compliment to reading or studying on a hot summer night.
