Overview

A blue-ribbon horse and a boy with Down syndrome teach Skye the meaning of love.

Joey Klingerman is one of the most loving kids you could ever meet, but Skye would welcome a lot less of his affection. This is Joey’s second summer at Keystone Stables, and the outgoing boy has latched onto Skye as his “girlfriend.” Skye finds his attention embarrassing and frustrating.

To add to the frustration, Joey won't stop pestering Skye to let him ride her horse, Champ. Skye won’t even consider it. No one rides Champ but her.

What does God want her to learn about loving others—including Joey? With the Snyder County Horse Show drawing near, Skye is about to find out.

Ahem a note to all the girls (or boys) "reviewing" this multiple times as an rp (role play) :
Please find a different way to contact eachother, there is no need to spam the reviews in this series.

I have read the first book but I'm too broke to buy this one so maybe I'll find it in the public library and review it for real later. Looks very interesting. :)

Fawnstep pads in, her white tipped ears flick in the dim light. Her dark blue eyes still searching, sighing she pads to the back corner of the den. She sets up a nest and settles down into it, not relizing how truly tired she was she curled her tail over her nose and fell asleep. Her breath was steady, and her paws twitched as she dreamed.

Nods his head "Im sorry for prieing its just she looked sad when Lilystar mentioned you to Banditstar." Im sorry for asking. "Its just i got mad at my sister for giving up a perfect life as a warrior to be a medicine cat. And after two years of never talking or knowing where she is I found gathering herbs in some stretch of territory. So I went to my brother Banditstar and found out she was dead. I never got a chance to say sorry. To look her in the eyes and say "I am so sorry Birchwing!" I have never forgiven myself for that." He looks away with a stab of pain. -
