Meet the Author

LAURALEE BLISS has always liked to dream big dreams. Part of that dream was writing, and after several years of hard work, her dream of publishing was realized in 1997 with the publication of her first romance novel, Mountaintop, through Barbour Publishing. Since then she’s had twenty books published, both historical and contemporary. Lauralee is also an avid hiker, completing the entire length of the Appalachian Trail both north and south. Lauralee makes her home in Virginia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with her family.

Lynn A. Coleman is an award-winning and bestselling author of Key West and other books. She began her writing and speaking career with how to utilize the Internet. Since October 1998, when her first fiction novel sold she's sold 30 books and novellas.

Lynn is also the founder of American Christian Fiction Writers Inc., and served as the group's first president for two years and two years on the Advisory Board. One of her primary reasons for starting ACFW was to help writers to develop their writing skills and to encourage others to go deeper in their relationship with God. "God has given me a gift," says Lynn, "but it is my responsibility to develop that gift."

Lynn has spoken at writers groups, women's groups, home-schooling organizations, church groups, conferences, workshops and retreats. "Lynn is informative, humorous, and approachable--what more can you ask for?" said one attendee.

She makes her home in Keystone Heights, Florida, where her husband of 36 years serves as pastor of Friendship Bible Church. Together they are blessed with three children and eight grandchildren.

TAMELA HANCOCK MURRAY lives in northern Virginia with her two daughters and her husband of over twenty years. She keeps busy with church and school activities, but in her spare-time she's written seven Bible trivia books and twenty Christian romance novels and novellas.

Good Wholesome Collection of Romance Novellas

This book is a collection of three novellas set in North Carolina during three different periods of history. The first book is set in the 1600s and is about a young woman who is traveling with her family to find the lost colony. Their male guide has to overcome his prejudices from the past before he can open up his heart to love. The beginning of the story describes her father as having Alzheimer's before the disease was identified. The second story was set in Charlotte, NC in 1830 where a young spinister has to decide between two suitors. One is a smooth talker and the other one left town seven years ago suspected of murder. It was interesting to see how small the city of Charlotte was back then since it is now a large city. The third story is about a young woman who is chasing her singing dream in the 1930s and how her fiancee has to swallow his pride in letting her work as a singer in order to pay for their future life together. They also learn that sometimes God has a better plan for us other than the one that we plan for ourselves.
