Stats: 349 nook pages. YA Paranormal romance. Being in my 30s, YA fiction is not my favorite usually, although I enjoyed the Twilight and Vampire Academy books. This book was free so I thought I'd try it out. After 100 pages, it didn't grab me so I quit. Needs some proofreading and editing. Dialogue is stiff and unimaginative--no one talks like that in real life. There are many positive reviews though, so I recommend giving it a try.

I found it to be fascinating and held me all the way to the end in one sitting. I will read other books by this same author because of the twists and interesting turn written in this book. If it had been longer, I still would be reading... Makes you want more!!! I would recommend this book to friends and also for book club discussions. Thank you.

Just to fake and predictable. Kind of like one of those corny movies where they get a new house and the whole town is warning them. Also the characters are fake too because they move into town with no poblems . They both have a new job in a day and they all found some other person that they want to be with. Then when the mom got bit it was a big give away. This book was like if the author was writing about Barbie. She literally plays dolls with her characters. It desperatly needs some life in it.

This started of as a pretty good vampire book and then spireled off into the "Twilight" zone. Definately one for the tweeny group.

Loved this book!!!!

The other reviews gave me high hopes for an exciting read, but this was really disappointing. The entire thing was written from the main character's point of view, which became increasingly annoying as the story progressed because she was a stereotypically idiotic teenager. What ever happened to strong, smart young women?

From start to finish I was engaged. I do have to say for a YA novel it was a little explicit in the descriptions, I enjoyed it but it is definitely for an older teen and older. Can't wait to read book two.
