"The best ever!" exclaimed her brother Bert, as he set down the valise he had been carrying, and walked back to the front gate to take a small satchel from his mother.
"I'm going to carry mine! I want to carry mine all the way!" cried little fat Freddie Bobbsey, thinking ...

"The best ever!" exclaimed her brother Bert, as he set down the valise he had been carrying, and walked back to the front gate to take a small satchel from his mother.
"I'm going to carry mine! I want to carry mine all the way!" cried little fat Freddie Bobbsey, thinking perhaps his bigger brother might want to take, too, his bundle.

Meet the Author

Laura Lee Hope was born (sort of) in 1904, when the pseudonym was first used for the first volume of "The Bobbsey Twins." She is not a real person, and in fact, quite often was a man.
Most of the time, the books with her name were written by Howard R. Garis and his wife Lilian Garis.
There are literally hundreds of works using this penname, spanning nearly three decades.

    Jazzy

Jazzy paws the stable restlessly. Trina comes and lets her out into the field and mucks her stall. She comes back and grooms jazzy then leaves. If you want to take riding lessons go to result19
