We were sorry to hear of the passing of Judi Dains. It was a priviledge to work with her. From childhood, Judi Dains was busy with her hands and mind, creating with abandon. Quilting escaped her notice until the late 1980s. She kept envisioning wild clothes, only to find out that her visions were called wearable art. That is what led her into the quilt world.
Through the years, Judi won more than 275 awards. Her work has been shown in galleries and public buildings, including the governor's office in California's State Capitol.
