I found myself unable to like the title character, though she does have potential. The story itself was disjointed and jumped around? I felt like I was reading the second or tjird book in a series. All in all it was okay and worth what I paid but not any more.

Extremely disjointed and rambling plot.  Character development left a lot to be desired.  I kept hoping it would get better.  Nope, it was grade school level through to the end.  I won't be reading any more by this author.

I really enjoyed this book. Leslie Bolt is a great character to follow. Tough female detective with a hard past. The story definitely keeps you turning pages. Thriller with just the right amount of romantic element. I look forward to more from Victoria Roder.
