Meet the Author

Greg Williams' trademark style — integrating portraits with reportage — grew out of years working as a photojournalist. In that capacity, he covered wars in Chechnya and Sierra Leone. Often working behind-the-scenes in the entertainment industry, Greg has had broad access to his subjects, blurring the line between formal and informal representations of celebrity. His work has appeared in many magazine, including Vanity Fair, Premiere, The Sunday Times, Stern, and Paris Match.

What do you know about fear?
I love this movie, so I figure it follows that I would also enjoy the behind the scenes info presented in this handsome hardcover. I was right.
This book is nice and big, and filled to the brim with large candid shots from the making of the film. It’s a pleasure to look through, but one downside is that you can “read” this book very fast as there’s not much text. Captions are nearby for each picture, but they usually just name who you are looking at. I could have used more behind the scenes stories and shenanigans, maybe some interviews, and please hold off on reprinting the shooting script which I can’t stand reading.
Overall though, it’s a very nice volume filled with professional photos that have been lovingly reprinted in the largest possible format for your viewing pleasure. A nice companion book for fans of the film.
