My daughter and I love the book! While we have yet to try all of the recipes, we are already excited about shopping for the ingredients for the next item on our to-do list - chocolate lip gloss - yum! This is an absolute must-have book for moms to share with their kids, no matter their age. I have young daughters and they really relate to the "cooking aspect" of the book. While they enjoy mixing things up, it is actually me, mom, who enjoys using the natural and homesmade products on my self. It is a user-friendly, easy to read book to share with your kids (even my son likes mixing up the beauty concoctions, AKA "goo," too!) and it is a great book for playdates and sleepovers. My daughter is already planning her shopping list for her next sleepover...

I really enjoyed this book. Most of the recipes are all natural, cruelty free, and inexpensive. I don't have children but I've used this with friends for a girl's night in and even with my own mom. I love the idea of bonding with the people in one's life and coming together to make fun natural beauty products and giving DIY gifts that come from a loving place. Some of my favorites so far are the scrubs (which smell so good & leave my skin so soft) Brown Sugar body scrub, Clementine Hand Scrub, Strawberry Peppermint foot scrub, and papaya sugar scrub. I also found the Perfect Shaving cream to be a great natural alternative to what's in stores and I love using the green tea grapfruit toner at the end of the day or after exercising to get all of the dirt off my face. Haven't made the chocolate lip balm yet but that's definitely next on my list. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
