Overview

Three Fates. Three Sisters.

Hotheaded succubus Willow Bellum doesn’t take kindly to being given to the Alpha of the shapeshifters. When the will from her dead father puts Willow under the Alpha’s protection, she runs. Yet no matter how hard or fast she runs, he always seems to catch her. And with each stolen moment together, Willow finds herself relenting to his quick smile and passionate kisses more and more.

When the Alpha finally captures his feisty succubus, he proceeds with a full-on seduction meant to weaken her defenses. Alpha Lyonis Keelan hasn’t made his way to position of Alpha lightly and Willow’s defiance to his touch only makes him more determined to win her. Because whether she wants it or not, Willow is his mate and he plans to keep her no matter what.

As their love struggles to take hold, an ancient demon stalks Willow. Unable to rest until it sees her dead, Willow and Lyonis must stand together or risk losing everything.

EXCERPT

“As if this is any way to woo a lady,” Willow muttered, tugging on the chains around her wrists.

“Well, I’ve tried more traditional means, but they seem to mean nothing to you.” Willow’s eyes frantically searched the room, found the source of the voice, and cursed.

“What do you want now?”

Lyonis Keelan stalked to the bed where he’d conveniently chained her. Sexist pig. He wore something similar to what he always wore. A baggy pair of khaki’s and a loose, button-down plaid shirt. Simple clothes but on him they looked good enough for a model. God, she hated him.

“Don’t you remember? I saved your life.”

“Well you don’t have to sound so cocky about it.” Suddenly he was in her face, his eyes hard with anger, lips firm.

“I am not happy that I had to rescue you from nearly drowning. The water was pitch black. It took longer than it should have to find you. I was terrified you’d die down there.” The way his eyes traced over her face almost made it seem like he cared.

“You don’t care about me so stop acting like it.”

“Oh, but I care very much.” His fingers traced over her cheek. His touch burned.

“You don’t know anything about me, Alpha. So why don’t you back the fuck up.” She used her bitchiest of tones. The kind that made men throw up their hands and back away from her like she had lit dynamite strapped to her chest.

But the Alpha only grinned. “I know everything I need to know.”

She tried not to ask, but it came out anyways. “Like what?” He smiled bigger. It was a happy smile and had probably charmed many women into his bed. Hundreds of them, thousands...sluts.

“That you are mine.” Willow snapped her teeth at him. He tossed back his head and laughed. “If you want to bite then go ahead, sweetheart. But be warned that my teeth are bigger, sharper, and longer.”

Willow snorted. Men. Always bragging.

She looked pointedly at her chains, and the room spun around her. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before she said, “Mind telling me why I’m chained to a bed. And know that before you answer, if you say I’m in your bedroom, I will kill you.”

THE BOOK LOVER'S REALM
[Chains of Frost] is filled with an intriguing plot, great humor and best of all, the perfect amount of heat. Her characters are well written and her story is engaging. The Bellum sisters are a handful for sure and it’s their feistiness that creates sparks for the males who have recently “acquired” them. Bravo!! Five stars to T.A. Grey for a series I am dying to continue.

NIGHT OWL REVIEWS
Bonds of Fire is, as I previously mentioned, the second book in the trilogy of the Bellum sisters. It is a wonderful story, moving fast and never stopping for anything. It ties in beautifully to the previous book, with the stories blending with each other, and working together to build the third novel, which is forthcoming. Romance lovers everywhere will adore this book (and the series) as much as I have. 4.5/5 stars!

I want more! Can't get enough!

This cover is amazing, brilliant colors and the character position is sexy! I read the first book of the Bellum Sisters series a few weeks ago. This was a revelation! I instantly fell in love with the whole story and particularly with the characters. I found everything I love in a PNR story with the Bellum Sisters series. After my first review, I couldn't just stop there and Ms. Grey offered me the opportuneness to read the rest of her series.

(Scottish) OMG, I think I'm in love with Lyonis! This sexy shape shifter didn't only give Willow some shivers... He gave me some shivers too! (LOL) I love when a men takes charge of (almost) everything! Well you have to let the impression that the woman can be in charge too, you know!?!? Anyway, as the first book gives me a first glimpse of Willow and Lyonis relation, I was pretty excited to read their story!

Lyonis still try to ''catch'' and keep Willow and bring her back to his clan to be his wife and queen. On Yeah! Well, as you may already find out, Willow didn't agree with Lyonis plan and run for her... liberty! This story was not as original as the first, in general (still very good and totally my type), but did nothing spectacular in terms of imagination or creativity; the woman who loves a man but who is afraid of being trapped in this couple they would form. By cons, T.A. Grey has a lot of creativity for the plot and the contribution of the ''evil and bad guys'' in a story. It's in my opinion that what makes the difference between the typical love story with a predictable end and the typical love story, spiced, enhanced by intriguing and surprising elements that enriched the whole story and makes you want to read and learn more!

Lyonis was patient with Willow at some point, but as the King of his clan, he also has responsibilities. I like the way he handled Willow and the ''things'' that happen in his clan. Nice ending I wonder what would happen in the last book of this series. I'm on it as soon as I have enough time, but as the two first books, I'm pretty sure it won't take long!

I strongly recommend Bonds of Fire! If you've read the first book, you probably didn't wait too long before directing you to the second volume. If you didn't start this one yet, you'll live with something missing... LOL kidding, but you have to give it a try!

    Bonds of Fire

I really loved Willow and Lyonis' "little story snippets" in the first book so I was really excited for this book. In the beginning Lyonis came off as a controlling jerk, but then you got his POV and as a reader I was like okay I get it, I get why he's acting this way and that Willow is overreacting. Then at the end, my opinion changed and I totally felt for her b/c Lyonis really did become a controlling jerk. Lol.
I did love their cat and mouse game tho, it added some comedy to the book along with some hot scenes!
I will say that two of the sex scenes near the middle gave off a rapey vibe to me. It kind of made me slightly mad & uncomfortable. That was probably due to the fact that Willow was constantly trying to fight off (her attraction to) Lyonis and repeatedly get away from him. I had to keep reminding myself it's in his nature to be dominating like that and it's in her nature to be wanton.
Overall, it was just like the first book. Decent length, lots of sex, lots of arguing, scary demons, and you again got the 2 side stories (Loved Jackie and Thayne!!!! They could have had their own book). Already purchased the third!!

This book is better than the first! I cannot give this book 5 stars because the editing is just ridiculous and I hate when a word out-of-place messes with the flow of the reading. The author has a degree in Writing...which is to say that she needs a new editor asap! Great read, despite the mistakes.

I must have purchased the rough draft that was discarded. I had

I must have purchased the rough draft that was discarded. I had high hopes for this book after reading everyone’s highly regarded reviews, so I have to conclude that I must have read a different copy.First off, there were too many typos. I am not referring to apostrophes that were misplaced, but words that were actually crossed out and left in the book; like I needed to understand the author’s creative writing process. Then some of the wrong names were used in denoting characters that had already left the scenes in the story, making it a challenge to follow the story as I had to reread to understand that there was an editing error. Secondly, the plot had so many potholes in it as to be rendered ridiculous in the extreme. The heroine is supposed to be a succubus, but being a succubus means to the author that the heroine has to experience some type of arousal every day from another person and really has no other powers beyond that, the author just alludes to an ability that the heroine can summon demons. Plot spoiler: heroine does not engage in sexual encounters every day, one of the many potholes. The whole story read like it was made up in the same process as it was being written, with little or any forethought. And finally, it is seemingly acceptable to become intoxicated while pregnant, but it is wrong to become intoxicated and copulate. Really?

    Rough ride

In true T.A. Grey fashion this was a steamy hot & very emotional ride. I've decided that Willow is THE most stubborn of the 3 sisters! Not only do I love the main storyline I love getting to know the other characters & their stories & journeys to love!

    My favorite of the 3

A well developed story and characters. All 3 books are fantastic. I was not expecting an erotic novel to make me care so much about the characters and the story. This series has a lot of things going for it I strongly suggest all 3 books.
