I loved this book. I was so happy to find that the Marla Mason series had continued and this prequel to the series was amazing. Seeing Marla rise to the position of cheif sorcerer was great. Lots of questions from the series are answered in this book but it still leaves Marla some of her secrets and mystery. I hope that Marla's adventures continue for a long time to come. You will be doing yourself a favor by reading these books.
