Overview

The human race has been reduced to a single colony on the desert world Copernicus, and the man responsible has returned from beyond the grave. When he and his few remaining followers discover an underground terraforming station and bring it online, Copernicus is encompassed in a planet-wide storm, giving them the opportunity to leave and make their way back to Earth's past where they still intend to rewrite human history as they see fit. Part of their plan involves a mysterious ancient artifact, the Sapphirus Tempus, or Sapphire of Time, which they coerce William and Luke into obtaining for them by abducting their wives and leaving them in imminent danger. Following the discovery of a dead Zyarya in the desert in ancient Egypt, the vampires come to realize that Earth isn't the only planet in danger, and sacrifices will need to be made. But the Gultorians have discovered the location of the human colony, and the danger also remains of the ancient Centaur race returning to reclaim the planet that was once theirs.
