I found it to be a great jumping off point for making unique bags. It has a list of items needed in the front so you can be sure to have everything you need. I thought the pictures of each purse were detailed and the directions clear. Excellent purchase.

I bought this book to make purses for my family members for Christmas. the instructions are well written although you should have some sewing experience to start or you could ask the ladies at the sewing store what kind of things you might need as to the inter facings. You have to also go to an Office Depot and get the patterns in the back blown up in order to use them. I did this and it didn't cost much and now I have the patterns for good. Most craft stores have the other supplies you might need to finish the projects but all in all this is a fun way to create something beautiful and original. I think the this is a good book for the crafty.
