Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Danielle Williams
Children love to be silly and there is nothing sillier or more fun than singing funny songs with fun hand motions. Feierabend has compiled a collection of children's songs accompanied by instructions for hand motions that add to the fun. Some songs tell a story, some are just fun, but all of them will appeal to children of all ages. There is a handful of Spanish songs included in this compilation but English translations are included along with the original verse. Quite a few songs have treble clef music provided, but most songs are lyrics and motions only. This compilation is ideal for any daycare or kindergarten. Most songs are familiar and the tunes for those songs that are not accompanied by treble clef can be easily deduced from the rhythm. Braver parents might find this book beneficial on long car trips, but the songs are ideally suited for use in a classroom setting. Reviewer: Danielle Williams
