Good for the beginner up to a scholar. Easy to use, incredibly enlightning. I attended a CES class and would be lost without it. David Ridges has formatted the book to be like a classroom in a book. Is great for preparing a lesson and personal study.

This book makes the Book Of Mormon much easier to understand.

This book helps make reading scripture more interesting and rewarding.  It feels as if a professor is walking you through it and explaining everything as we go along.  I'm still pretty new to the Book of Mormon, so this has been very valuable to me.  I highly recommend it for new converts, or even older members who want to take their understanding to the next level.

I started in Mosiah with these books in paperback.. By the time I got back around to Nephi I had an e-reader so I got that version. The bold and highlighting did not translate over so it was more like just reading the Book of Mormon, except for all the parenthesis I had to jump over. In general the book is for beginners who do not understand scriptural language, etc. All the inserted comments can be annoying for those who already understand that. I did learn something new occasionally.

David ridges does a great job with his comments on studying the Book of Mormon. I was very frustrated with the fact that Nook does not include the sections in bold. It takes a great deal of the usefullness of Bro. Ridges' work away.
