Edward Lear (1812—1888) was a writer and illustrator best known for his nonsense verse, most famously The Owl and the Pussycat. He is also the author of Nonsense Songs and Stories and Nonsense Botany and Nonsense Alphabets.

Lear has catapulted lymerics into poetry, his poems into myths and his stories into illusions. I LOVE this book, great for chuckle anytime.
