As Osho shows in these pages, it is a complete science of self-realizatoin, based on the cumulative wisdom of centuries of exploration into the meaning of life and consciousness. Tantra-the very word means "technique"-is a set of powerful, transformative tools that can be used to bring new meaning andjoy to every aspect of our daily lives.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"These techniques will not mention any religious ritual. No temple is needed, you are quite enough of a temple yourself. You are the lab; the whole experiment is to go on within you. This is not religion, this is science. No belief is needed. Only a daringness to experiment is enough; courage to experiment is enough.

These 112 methods are for the whole of humanity-for all the ages that have passed, and for all the ages that have yet to come. I will go on describing each method from as many angles as possible. If you feel any affinity with it, play with it for three days. If you feel that it fits, that something clicks in you, continue it for three months.

Life is a miracle. If you have not known its mystery, that only shows that you do not know the technique for how to approach it." —Osho

    I Also Recommend:

    Enlightening

As a Seeker you must learn a much higher code of conduct then just those taught to you as a child. This requires your willingness to integrate many points of view. What wisdom list of books would be complete without at least one more perspective about the divine? Start with your own great spiritual or religious tradition then read the Book of Secrets. Osho speaks fluently in the tradition of all great spiritual teachers - with love, kindness, tolerance and compassion. Tantra is teaching spirit from a non-dual perspective. Very challenging for most Westerners but a richly rewarding effort for greater self-knowledge, inner depth and consciousness.

The book of secret, no sex at all but enlightenment!

One of the chapter in this book leads people to the enlightenment. The method read likes this (laying down on your bed with great relax) 'let all the questions in your mind pop up itself, ... (do not answer any of these questions) just think 'no' to each question that arising, reject each question that pop up with a thinking of 'no', then, less and less question will arises, till no more question is arising, then ask 'who am I', think of all the answers that one can think of but think 'no' to rejects each of your own answer to this 'who am I' until no more question & answer. Then think 'I am empty' , lot of times to let your brain to accept this answer, then just think 'empty' if your brain is comfortable with the answer which is 'I am empty'. Think 'empty' only now, it is no more 'I' at such moments, cause 'I' am actually an 'emptyness', let your brain just accept that you are actually empty, an emptyness at this moments. While your are thinking 'empty' continuously, focus your attention onto your heart, imagine a power of focus is rubbing on your heart continuously, this power of focus is going deeper and deeper into your heart while rubbing it continuously as your are thinking 'empty' at the same time, (you are empty, so there will be empty heart), rub to cease the heart while you continue to thinking 'empty', you will feel that your heart become ceasing as you continue with thinking of 'empty' and rubbing with your power of focus onto it at the same time. If you can continue to rub it till you feel it is empty, you have the very first taste of enlightenment. You have to do this to rub till you can feel that your heart are become 'empty' totally (may be do it on some other days) to 'remember back'. (Beware! no wind is allowed while you are imagine that your are putting your attention/focus on your heart, if not you may get your heart colded (ie. by the wind), you will get a kind of fever with your heart get colded directly by the wind/cold air in this siatution, you cannot eat after three days of fever, feel like vomit, bones pain. Take some chicken feathers, boil with some water, use this warm boiled feathers to rub your head, heart side & body with a black color cloth in a room that no wind & cold (can enter), rest with blanket covering even your head for 3 hours continuously, [during the process of rubbing with the warm feathers in a cloth on you body till 3 hours after this, you cannot get colded again, cannot has any wind blow on you, so you have to be in a room with no wind at all. (If you get wind/cold during these periods you will die)].
