The black-and-red pyramid-shaped Sith case appears innocuous. But with the touch of a button, the door of the case lifts, accompanied by lights and Star Wars sound effects. The secrets within are revealedthe Book of Sith slides into view.
The Sith have existed in the galaxy for centuries, lurking, waiting for their chance to seize control. As various Sith Lords emerged and rose to power, they recorded their thoughts, exploits, and plots for Sith control of the galaxy. When they fell, their knowledge vanished with them forever. Or so it seemed. . . .
Over the years, these writings were passed among numerous Sith and Jedi, who added their comments to the pages. In his quest for domination, Darth Sidious tracked down what remained of five pivotal Sith texts written by his most powerful predecessors. Then, drawing on the knowledge within the compiled pages, he wrote a sixth texthis own manifesto. Together, these documents, along with several collected objects associated with them, shed light on the philosophy, achievements, and failures of the Sith Order. For years, this collection remained hidden, existing as legend only. But now all who are tempted may unlock the Book of Sith and delve into the dark side. . . .

I have "The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force" Vault Edition, and I just got this book in the mail today, it is absolutely worth ever penny. Anyone else that owns The Jedi Path will not be disappointed with this Dark Side version. Even the Holocron that opens up containing the book is much improved over the container for The Jedi Path. Also the pages within The Book of Sith are a representative of the hodgepodge of texts that were collected into one volume. If you love Star Wars lore, especially lore concerning the Darkside and the Sith then you will love this book. Any Star Wars fan would be proud to have this book and its goodies in their collection.
I got this for my lover on Christmas. He is a HUGE Star Wars fan and has been coveting this book. He was like my three-year-old when he opened up the box! Mechanics work great, lots of nifty stuff inside the book, and notes as well. The book is currently on his display case :)
It's a great gift for someone who is wicked into Star Wars, however, I had to replace the first one I received because the door wouldn't open all of the way, and the second one I got is messing up again after not being used much. It looks really cool for the moments that you're able to use it, but be careful not to press the button too many times. It's impressive enough to be worth $60, but I would have liked it to have maintained functionality longer. Because now I feel like I spent $60 on a toy that was only used twice.
Just plain awesome.
it's a peice of junk
