Overview

Crawling from the wet soil, the recently deceased rise to walk the earth once more.
They are mindless, only a hunger for human flesh driving them onward. Their faces are distorted, eyes glazed, mouths slack, and hands curled into claws.
The dead will never tire and will continue to roam until every man, woman and child on the planet is consumed.

The question isn't if you will survive, but only for how long.
For the walking dead will never stop until they have found and torn your still beating heart from your chest, feeding on your insides as you scream in agony.
Welcome to the fourth volume of the Book of the Dead, where only slow, shambling zombies abound.
Pray you're still alive to read the entire book before the living dead find you.

Giangregorios zombie gift that keeps on giving!!

This guy can produce so much zombie literature, its astounding. Sad to say, the quality is sometimes lacking. Though his Deadwater series has been interesting, it also seems to drag like one of his zombies. Though I must admit, he does stick to his subject like the gore that remains on one of his walking dead. Book of the dead 4 is, like the others, consistantly Romero dedicated. It seems that the only zombies are the slow, shuffling, rotted things that always seem to get you. This book has that kind of zombie. Some of the authors are quite talented and the stories are good. Like Tony Schaab, Richard Moore and Michael Presutti. The laters story.."Two Inches", simply blew me away with a surprise ending that really caught me off guard. All in all, I can't say that I loved the anthology, but the few gems it produced were worth the price.
