Meet the Author

Rebecca Barnhouse earned her doctorate in medieval literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a Professor of English at Youngstown State University, where she was named a Distinguished Professor in Teaching. She has also received the Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education Award for Teaching Excellence. Her publications include The Old English Hexateuch: Aspects and Approaches co-edited with Benjamin C. Withers and Recasting the Past: The Middle Ages in Young Adult Literature.
