Book of the Wind (Samurai Girl Series #4)

This book was crazy, in a great way. I love the fact that Heaven went to Vegas for awhile, and met (who else?) Teddy there. I also found it very realistic that Katie wasn't feeling all sunshine and daisies to see Heaven again. She clearly liked (and still does like) Heaven, but why would any intelligent woman want to get involved with the Kogo family after making it away from them alive the first time? I'd run for my life. Anyway, I thought this was very enjoyable, and (ha!) Hiro leaves Karen. What a nice touch!

Book of the Wind (Samurai Girl Series #4)

This book was nuts!! In one book, just over 200 pages, Heaven goes from L.A., to Las Vegas, to Joshua Tree, to Tijuana, to on her way to San Diego! Oh my gosh! Anyway, I thought this book was really good. It was good to finally meet Katie, after hearing about her so much. She was a little cowardly, but it's totally understandable - she wanted out of that life, and suddenly, it found her. I'd be running for my life! I was pleasantly surprised by Teddy's behavior. He's alright! And there's probably going to be a bunch of girls not liking me for saying this, but I think Heaven should have stayed with Teddy. Hiro TESTED her way too many times! You do NOT test someone to see how they feel about you. It's degrading. I really don't care for Hiro's character anymore. And, as we already knew, Karen deserves to get run over by a truck. A great book, though!
