Before the war . . .

What was life like for Bobby Pendragon's fellow Travelers before they joined him in the fight to save every time and place that has ever existed? What led up to their becoming the guardians of Halla? Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
Before the war, before Bobby Pendragon and Saint Dane, every territory of Halla had a Traveler. These prodigies lived for years, even decades, before they learned the challenges and promise of their true destiny. This continuation of this astonishing prequel series lays the groundwork for everything that happens later.
VOYA - Arlene Allen
In this second volume of Pendragon: Before the War, tales set on the various worlds of Halla before Bobby Pendragon, readers meet Aja as a student on Veelox, following her while she foils a fellow student who has already become prey to Saint Dane. Nak Adams has programmed a "game" into the Lifeflight system, but it is actually a trap to eliminate Aja and secure the virtual dreaming device for Saint Dane. Eli Winter, the mother of future traitor Nevva, experiences a life of hardship and loss before discovering Mr. Blok and the Revivers. Her story is a powerful tribute to the lasting power of art and music. Finally Alder on Denduron is the oldest trainee with the Bedoowan knights. Mocked by his younger and richer co-trainees, Alder almost gives up until he meets a mysterious new master, Wencil. Into all these stories and future Travelers' lives steps a man named Press, shaping their destiny beyond their imaginations. This collection is written by the author of more than two dozen novels for young adults, a specialist in action scenes and strong characterization. Although still not quite capturing D.J. MacHale's original creations, Sorrells's stories are fast paced and engaging. Again it is not a volume for newcomers to the Pendragon universe, although not quite as confusing or as difficult to follow as the previous volume of Before the War stories. This collection may actually recruit new fans, which will hopefully catch up on Bobby and the other Travelers adventures before the final volume appears. Reviewer: Arlene Allen

    Big fan of pendragon

I wanted to know which travelers this one talked about, like Aja and Osa. The first 1 is about Gunny, Spader, and Kasha, so i was wondering which travelers this one was about. -A fan
