Overview

I left home because I didn't want to end up in a cage like a lab rat. Hitching rides, begging for cash, and sleeping on the ground got old fast. That was the only reason I braved an overgrown path to a group of buildings. I'd hoped to find a bed and a decent night's sleep. However, what I found was a place overrun by werewolves.

While on the run, Charlene finds herself surrounded by werewolves, creatures she can't control with her mind like she can humans. Their existence has her believing she's found a safe place to stay, a place where secrets are okay. However, she soon discovers she's anything but safe. Charlene must learn how to use her abilities to influence the strange new species because if she can't, the next bite she suffers might just kill her.

Read how the cycle begins, and have no doubt. Charlene's past will shape the future of the Judgements.

I have really enjoyed the books. I can hardly wait for the next two. Loved that they kept me on the edge of my seat (and up some nights) to finish.

I began the series in order when I got a free offer through Bookbub. I didn't have very high hopes since I had gotten a few other free ones that were lacking in content and the writing left a lot to be desired. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised with Ms. Haag, that I paid to read the rest of the books available. I have been really enjoying each one. I patiently await the next installment! I recommend this series for readers of any age. I think it would be enjoyed by all. A good story is a good story!

I was a little disappointed that this wasn't Isabelle story but I really enjoyed learning about Charlene. I loved the first three books and this one was just as good.

Awesome book! I re-read the other three books first, so the story just flowed. I could not put this book down, I had to finish it! I loved Charlene and Thomas' story the best so far. I can't wait for the next book.

Awesome werewolves series (Judgement of the Six). A unique take on were wolves I think to understand this, you would need to start at the first book [Hope(less)], but once you do, you'll be hooked. Only 5 books of the ladies from the 6 have been published so far, last of the ladies' book is not out yet from this series yet. (I believe final lady's book estimated for early 2017) Don't miss out on this series. Also don't miss the companion sets from the men's point of view. ("Clay's Hope" is out, coming soon is "Emmett's Treasure")

This book 6 is not as good as rhe first 5. It drags out the story way to long .The series is beginning to lose my interest. It is taking far to long to get to the point of the story. I do not believe I shall purchase any more if this series. I am very disapointed.L.M.A.

Fourth book in the Judgement of the Six series. And I love how this one goes back in time a little and shows how some things were set up to what we know now. New couple and more knowledge on the Judegements. Keep them coming!

Now, you can read this as a fourth book, and further continuation of the wolves' and their bonded mates' stories, or you can read it as a first book, and think of it as a prequel to Hope(less), (Un)bidden, an (Un)wise. It focuses on a couple that you've already become familiar with, but may have not thought you'd read their story. Well, here it is... The beginning of it all that's been so elusively referred to but is now here in detail. No, it's not one of the elements of the long ago past of the girls, but it is the story of a couple, who spark the wolves' knowledge of their special mates. It answers some more lingering questions while providing a background to the beginning, and another great love story. As I've mentioned in other reviews, don't worry about losing your favorite couple because everyone's story is apart of the greater whole. Instead, be prepared to fall in love with another couple, and become hungry for more. But no worries.... (Dis) content is coming very soon!

This is one of my favorite, The Judgement of the Six series, books. I love Charlene and Thomas’ story. In the other books we have seen them older and as parents to Emmitt (book two) and Jim. Their pack has been well established. (Un)Bidden gives us the story of how Charlene meets her mate Thomas and how the compound got started. What I enjoyed about Charlene and Thomas’s romance the most is the building of trust and their love for each other. It was a joy to watch them grow together and to learn from each other. Charlene was so impressive to watch as she, with help, remodeled the compound from shackles to livable space. I also loved getting to know Mary, Gregory, and Grey so much better. Charlene is amazing person, smart, mature, and holds so much pressure on her shoulders. Thomas is full of attitude, assurance, and a much softer side reserved for Charlene. Melissa Haag does a wonderful job brining these character’s stories to life and ties the present day of the JOTS story in the book really well. Don’t miss this heartwarming background story of Charlene and Thomas.

Wow This was one dam good book. we find out all kinds of stuff in this Book. This book takes us back to the beginning, back to when Charlene Arrives at the compound This is Charlene's story, we get to find out how the compound got it's beginnings. Then most fun is how the figured out that the it was the girls who have to claim the men. And not the other way around and how much Charlene hats being bitten (I'll say no more as not to ruin the book for you but OMG this part is so good) If they'd get that through their heads shed be fine. These books just keep getting better, I can not wait to see what happens to next.
