Every once in awhile there is a book that makes you think, no matter your personal opinion about it (Grapes of Wrath comes to mind). This is definately such a book. Though the writing style isn't suited to my personal tastes, the plot is [thankfully] original. In an age of sequels and spin offs it is a blissful breath of fresh air. The action keeps the book alive and well paced. And whether you enjoy the writing or not, the author definately makes demands on your mind; yet he styles it in such a way that this can also be taken as light reading. If you're looking for something different, order a copy now. In the meantime, I'm saving up for the sequel.
When I first read it I was amazed. It is the type of book that takes hold of you from the very first chapter. The characters are belivable and the futuristic settings are very realistic. It combines action, mystery, suspense, and a excellent plot into a well woven book that stuns the mind and fires the imagination. People of all ages and gender will love and enjoy this book so much they will not be able to put it down.
I almost didn't order this book. After all, the price balked me somewhat. I am infinitely glad for not listening to that little voice in my head. The writer demonstrates an amazing ability to weave a deep and involving plot with non-stop action. Once I had the chance to sit down with Ad Infinitum for any length of time, I couldn't put it down. If I had to describe the overall concept of this book, it would be James Bond meets Quantum Leap. Even delves into political, religious, and moral issues. Overall, a great book. If you enjoy Science Fiction, BUY THIS!
