I never write reviews or fill out surveys, but I gotta say this book has helped me in more ways than one and I AM a working actor making a living as an actor. I can't believe after 15 years in the business how much I didn't know BUY, BORROW, STEAL whatever it takes just READ THIS BOOK

This is a must-have tool for any aspiring actor. Landing an agent is not the real work. 'Working' your agent is the key to success. Nancy Rainford's book helps empower actors to be pro-active and effective in a world that typically 'victimizes' them. Take control and buy this book!

This book is smart, funny, direct and humane. Nancy Rainford's experience in so many aspects of the entertainment business can now benefit us all. It should be required reading for every actor. I wish I had read it years ago.

I saw a poster for this book that read: THE BOOK YOUR AGENT DOESN'T WANT YOU TO READ...so I HAD to read it. Perfect timing too...I never realized before how much I didn't know about agents and what I do and don't have control over..

A simple, straightforward guide. I wish someone had written this ten years ago and saved me a lot of time. Do any of your actor friends a big favor and buy them a copy of this smart little book.
