This is an incredible book. The sections are arranged well and kept short enough that you can really access the information. It is super to see the anatomy painted on the horse and how things articulate in movement. There are also super pictures of the parts of the skeleton that pertain to each section in the book. It also gives very good information about what the impact of the stresses of different riding disciplines have on each area of the body. This is a must have book for anyone who really wants to keep their horse as sound as possible for as long as possible.

I bought this book to learn about horse muscles and gait. It is easy to read with great photos/illustrations. I brought it on the bus to read, but never got a chance because all my friends were looking at it. The book was written for a horse rider, but even non-riders will find it very interesting. I plan to purchase another copy for my niece who rides horses.
