This book doesn't even contain a table listing all of the registers of the 8051. If you want to know about the 8051 from a philosophical point of view, get this book. If you want easy to find details allowing you to get going on programming the 8051, avoid this book!!! Luckily I didn't open the insert containing the CD, because I am returning this duck.

Too much fluff and not enough details. The section that explains each instruction is very small and includes diagrams that are incuded are pretty much useless. I found more complete information on the net. Don't waste your money.
