Christina Rossetti is one of the finest Victorian poets, but is so often forgotten. Read this volume to see what you've been missing. Included are her famous works such as Goblin Market, Prince's Progress, and her sonnet sequence Monna Innominata. However, Poems and Prose of Christina Rossetti also contains her more obscure works, including her verses written for children and her some of her rather good attempts at prose. Sweetly sad, often religious, and always powerful, her verse is worth savoring. Highly recommended, especially to those with an affection for 19th century poetry.
