I used this book while being taught by the author, Andrew Hoffman, at Mesa College in San Diego. If you'd like to fine tune your abilities, this is the book to purchase! It's well-written, easy to follow, and the information for each chapter is designed to layer upon the previous lesson (s). I highly recommend this book!  Not only is "A Thousand Words"  a great tool, the class was a blast!  L J D
