The subject matter is for a more mature audience. It is a good read for male and female readers as it isn't melodramatic and soppy. Pretty good. Worth the read.

I am reading the book Sexy. It's a really good book because of the sports and the way the love comes intact with the main character. The main character in this book is called Darren Flynn. He is a 16 year old and he does swimming. He interacts with his history teacher and it turns out to be a disaster. I like this book because it relates to me because I love sports and he does swimming so you can say he does too. I also relate to it by all the drama that goes on in the school and by his friend. This book is for people that like love stories and love guys that mess with the student body in school. This book is a funny but yet serious because some parts are sexy but some are real like their grades and how well they need to do. Other then that this book is very good. In the book it talks about Darren with his teacher in a car and he tries to take Darren home but something happeneds. Does Darren get in a wreck? I don't know. You have to read the book to find out.

This book was definately interesting and kept me asking 'what will happen next!?' but i feel the ending lacked as much closure as i'm used to reading. Overall i like this book and would recommend it to other teens.

I found this book very interesting. It was one of those odd books in which the chapters were not 'normal', but the author keeps the reader in check with this one. I couldn't put the book down. It was a very easy read and the reader gets the gist of the plot pretty quickly. I loved the way Darren was depicted. I had many opinions of him from beginning to end. I felt that he was sexy 'of course', shy, cowardice, courageous, and mysterious. I would recommend this book to teenage females and open-minded males.

This is one of my favorite books. I read it all in one night. Reading it I felt sympathy for Darren as if he was someone I knew. I really believe anyone would love this book. It is extremely important to have an open mind before beginning this book and to not be stereotypical.

Sorry...but I do not recommend this book to anyone....It looks good from the back but it's awful...Nothing interesting really happens and I didn't really like reading it. But since I can't stop in the middle of a book I kept reading Painfully...Maybe I'm being a little dramatic but still I dont recommend it.

The book was wonderful. I can not find words for it. The title itself says the most about Darran, What he deals with not many can deal with but you feel as if it is happening in front of you and you can not help but get into the story.

I started reading this book thinking that it would be amazing. The title intrigued me so much. But as got into the book and it's storyline, I was not impressed. I felt like the chapters and the way that the story was written was quite vague and it left the reader with way too many questions. Also the energy and the hype of the ending did not fit that of the rest of the story.

I couldn't put the book down it was so good. It's interesting to see Darren's point of view on the events going around. It was a interesting to a see a guy's point of view on the world because I'm a girl.

I was very disappointed with this book. It is badly written, with a lot of homophobic discourse, which was never (in my opinion) satisfactorily resolved or justified. The reason I give it two stars and not one is because there was something gripping here; I still wanted to see how the story ended. (But the ending was awful) The story is about a tennaged boy and Oates tries to pick up the correct 'speak' for this age group and gender, but the language used was condascendingly dumbed down.
