At best political satire, Ms Kirst-Ashman interjects her own political commentary into historical events without basis in fact or supporting documentation. She then pretends to enlighten our youth with this indoctrination into her belief system. Too many of our “textbooks” have become nothing more than methods to brainwash youth into believing something which is patently false and deliberately misleading. To use this book in teaching our youth is nothing short of a travesty and at best is propagandizement of the author's political views. She has every right to publish this tripe but she should at least acknowledge that much of the content is editorialized by her and thereby becomes her “opinion” and not fact.
